On the agenda this week: Medical revalidation is due to start in December 2012, which means all doctors licensed with the General Medical Council (GMC) will need to regularly demonstrate their fitness to practise; and up to £50m is to be made available to NHS trusts and local authorities to create care environments for people with dementia.
